- Current owner Frank Nuber purchased part ownership of Art's Pharmacy and brought with him his compounding skills used since graduating from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1970. He began his association with PCCA (Pharmacetical Compouning Centers of America) and began compounding Progesterone for PMS for women and also nutritional products to help women with those problems associated with the syndrome.

- Purchased remaining interest in Art's Drugs and changed name to The Medicine Shoppe of St. Peters. Moved to present location at 7883 Mexico Rd. Expanding compounding services and opening Excel Apothecary within the Medicine shoppe to include pain management and veterinary services.
- Began Disease State Management to include diabetes, asthma and anticoaglulant consultations in order to impact patients and their families, reduce hospitalizations.

- Began offering Saliva Testing of hormones and consultations for women's health to further a postitive impact on the family.
- Expanded compounding services to include pediatric, men's health, flavoring, dental and hospice.
